Juve chasing defender Ogbonna

Juventus are ready to enter the race to sign Torino's highly rated defender Angelo Ogbonna.

The 24-year-old has impressed for Il Granata, and was a key player in the side's promotion from Serie B last term.

The centre-half's performances at club level have won him a place in the Italy squad for Euro 2012, but as yet he has not been given a chance to star.

With AC Milan supposed front-runners for the player's signature this summer, Antonio Conte's men may well be ready to weigh in with an offer to their cross-town rivals also.

Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici is believed to be an admirer of Ogbonna, and will try to convince the Scudetto winners' board to make an offer for the defender this summer.

It is also thought that Milan's capture of Francesco Acerbi will cool their interest in the Torino man adequately to allow Juventus to lead the chase for his signature.

Inter & AC Milan to battle it out for Manchester United midfielder

Anderson arrived from Porto in a deal worth €30 million (£25.6m) in 2007 at the same time as Nani but while the winger has gone on to become an important player at Old Trafford, the Brazilian playmaker has not progressed as hoped.

United are prepared to cut their losses by seeking €18.5m (£15m) for the transfer of the 24-year-old, who made just 10 appearances in the Premier League last season.

Contact has already been established with the Italian giants through a third party, with the Rossoneri having identified Anderson as a potential replacement for in-demand midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.

"Anderson has not kicked on as the club hoped," a source told Goal.com "With Inter and AC interested, United would certainly be willing to let him go - for the right price.

" Injuries have frequently thwarted Anderson's progress, who has never topped the 24 league appearances he made during his debut campaign under Sir Alex Ferguson.

He missed a large portion of the 2009-10 season and the 2010 World Cup after rupturing the cruciate ligament in his left knee.

He last represented his country at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where Brazil Under-23's side secured a bronze medal.

Inter have contacted Parma over Giovinco, says director Ausilio

The 25-year-old striker, who is part of Italy's squad for Euro 2012, is widely expected to leave Parma in the summer, with a host of clubs believed to be monitoring his situation.

Juventus own 50 per cent of Giovinco's economic rights, and they have until June 22 to reach an agreement with Parma, or the full ownership of the striker will be decided through a blind auction, in which the higher bidder of the two will secure the remaining 50 per cent.

Last month,it was reported that Inter were interested in the striker, and the Nerazzurri director has now confirmed that exploratory talks have taken place.

"We have contacted Parma about Giovinco," Ausilio told Sky Sport Italia. "He is surely a great player, he has improved a lot in the last years and we are following him.

"We will see what happens in the next few days." Giovinco, who has also been linked with Barcelona, scored 15 Serie A goals for Parma this season.
