Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has revealed his move to Paris Saint Germain is now a "pure formality".
Lavezzi, 27, has attracted interest from many of Europe's top sides but it is big spending Ligue 1 club PSG who now seem certain to seal a deal, with a fee of €27 million mooted.
The Argentina international, who moved to the Stadio San Paolo from San Lorenzo five years ago, scored nine goals in 30 Serie A appearances last season as Napoli finished fifth and beat champions Juventus 2-0 in the Coppa Italia final.
With Napoli failing to earn a return to Champions League, Lavezzi will get the chance to play in the competition with PSG, who finished second to Montpellier in the French league last season.
"I have not yet signed for PSG," Lavezzi said, "We have to set a date, but it's a pure formality."
