MALAGA are favourites to land Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner for around £4m.
The striker is understood to have turned down a permanent move to Sunderland where he spent last season on loan.
Nicklas Bendtner enjoyed a relatively successful loan spell at Sunderland and followed that up with a two goal salvo against Portugal and got himself a whopping fine for displaying his Paddy Power underwear.
Perhaps now it’s time for Arsene Wenger to accept whatever offers of decent value are made for the giant Danish international as clearly he has little or no chance of breaking back into the Arsenal first team picture.
With Lukas Podolski in the bag and Olivier Giroud ’90% likely’ to join the German at the North London club, Bendtner has less of a chance of getting into Wenger’s starting eleven than he did when he was farmed out to the Stadium of Light.
Factor in the hopeful plans to keep Robin Van Persie and the 24 year old would really be better off looking for a new club on a permanent basis.
Incredibly Bendtner has made just 40 Premier League starts in seven years at Arsenal and if Malaga want the forward then Wenger should sell.
However perhaps the Frenchman thinks he can coax more than £4m from the cash-rich La Liga side.
After all the Qatari run club do have Champions League football to enjoy this coming season and will want to make sure they have effective attacking options in place.
